To: ugabytes@ugabytes.org Subject: Re: [UgaBYTES] Towards the creation of Rwanda Telecentre Network, Dear friends in Telecentre movement, I want just to let you know that we currently in the process of creating a National Telecentre Network called Rwanda Telecentre Network(RTN).This innitiative is a result of current govenment policy to promote rural ICT in Rwanda by establishing community information Centers in rural areas.It is expected taht within 3 month 30 Telecentres will be established in rural cities.This inniative of Rwanda Telecentre Network is headed by Barera Paul,manager of Nyamata Telecentre who is acting as country coordinator of the project, and NDIRIMA Falcon Godwin,marketing manager at TECELKA Communication services.The iiniative is also supported by Ugabytes Rwanda Information and technology Authority(RITA).We hope that as we move on we will have intrested people and organisatios to support our innitiative.
