New group: Arts and Social Change
A new group and CTools site has been created to bring together those who are interested in the arts and the use of creative expression to foster social change.
The Arts and Social Change worksite is a space where people with shared interests can come together to build collaborations, share resources, and discuss what exactly social change through creative expression would look like. Participation is encouraged, so if you hear about upcoming events, shows, talks, etc., please feel free to post an announcement and share with the group!
In addition, users of this site are also encouraged to "shamelessly self-promote" and either post announcements of their upcoming involvements in artistic efforts throughout the community, or bravely display their own artwork (poems, digital media, etc.) under the "Forums" link.
If you are interested in participating or checking in regularly to see what's happening at the university and in the larger community, please email annahk@umich.edu to be added to the CTools site/email list.
