The organization I work for, Pro Bono Net, has four staff positions
open. We're advertising them in the usual places but I'm forwarding them
to you directly in case you know someone who might be interested.
I'd be happy to talk with anyone who wants to find out more before

The LawHelp Circuit Rider and New York Program Coordinator positions are
great opportunities for someone interested in community informatics, and
the Technology Manager and Sharepoint Developer positions are part of a
major Gates-funded social enterprise initiative. I believe the salary
ranges for all are quite competitive for the nonprofit sector.

SharePoint Developer - (ideally based in NYC but will consider
telecommuting for the right candidate.) See below. This could be a more

SharePoint Developer (Full-time Position)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pro Bono Net (PBN) currently seeks experienced IT professional with
advanced Microsoft .NET Application Development / SharePoint 2007/2003
technical aptitude to join our growing team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Must be effective working remote for the entire duration of project
engagements
- Serve as lead role in the planning, designing, installing, testing,
and deploying of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/Windows
SharePoint Services
- Apply SharePoint and 3rd Party Web Part development/.NET application
development to deliver customizations solutions to client
- Advise Information Systems infrastructure teams on the effective use
of technology within the enterprise architecture
- Provide hands-on training throughout engagements for customer team
members
- Ensure tools and best practices are in place and adhered to for
technologies
- Deliver presentations and provide technical support
- Mentor and train other associates in their areas of expertise
- Configure and manager servers running SharePoint and SQL
- Provide critical troubleshooting and maintenance of SharePoint
solution environments
- Evaluate new technologies and what benefit they may provide
