Committees
Unlike other student organizations, the Community Information Corps does not follow a traditional hierarchy of presidents, vice presidents, and secretaries. It’s not that this structure doesn’t work; it’s just that our community operates around the premise that a governing structure should allow individuals to define how they want to participate.
To help facilitate various levels of participation, the Community Information Corps operates around two central committees: The Planning Committee and the Communication Committee. Each committee carries out tasks that are, according to our Constitution, considered essential to the successful operation of the group. With this knowledge, participants assume various roles within the committees, taking on titles like project manager, web developer, communication coordinator, etc.
