This committee is responsible for ensuring that participants remain up to date and informed about group activities, upcoming events, and important ‘administrative’ issues. Individuals who take roles in this group fulfill many of the following roles:
Communication Management:
• Draft weekly emails to CiC participants regarding upcoming events, speakers, social outings, and projects
• Sets an agenda for planning meetings
• Facilitates discussion during planning meetings
• Replies to emails sent to cic group email
• Create posters and flyers about events
• Ensures that events are posted to the CiC website
• Ensures that event appear on SI website calendar
• Meet with CiC faculty advisors and provide them with updates
Knowledge Management:
• Takes notes during planning meetings and posts meeting minutes to website.
• Ensures that “How To…” documents are current and appear on website
• Manages the Resources page on the CiC website, populating it with pertinent links and information
