The Community Information Corps actively reaches out and builds upon existing School of Information associaitons with academic, non-profit, and corporate institutions. We seek to increase dialogue and create meaningful partnerships with institutions, creating opportunities for the exchange of ideas and strategies that promote and develop Community Informatics as an academic and professional field. Kellogg Foundation: In November 2006, the Kellogg Foundations announced its continued support for CI initiatives at SI with a $4 million endowment for the nation’s first chair of Community Informatics.
