10/26 Speakers: Gavin Clabaugh and Andy Wolber
An overview of ICT in the nonprofit world, including support and
infrastructure organizations working with nonprofits and ICT; the state
of ICT within nonprofit organizations; ICT spending patterns then and
now; lessons from working with nonprofits in the trenches; and the
riddles of ICT funding in the nonprofit sector.
The Mott Foundation supports efforts that promote a just, equitable, and sustainable society. In addition to his responsibilities within the Foundation, Gavin works to further the effective use of information and communications technology throughout the NGO community and helped develop and launch the first “Circuit Rider” initiative — an innovative business model for delivering technology assistance to the non-profit community. Since its creation, the model has been successfully adopted by hundreds organizations around the world. NPower helps Michigan nonprofits use technology to better serve their communities. Since 2002, Andy has led technology strategy and planning workshops for more than 250 nonprofit organizations throughout the Midwest region.
