Class 10/31

What did everyone think of Steve Jackson's talk today? I thought it was a very useful and interesting overview of the concept and implementation of development as it often fits into the framework of IT. I really enjoyed it and thought it would be useful to have some sort of grounding talk like that at the beginning of the term isntead of now in the middle of it (though, was that purposeful?). Did everyone else appreciate the human-centered approach or is this widely known and accepted at SI? Are there classes that can be developed to give SI students this kind of perspective within CI? (Personally, I think so but this is the anthropologist in me talking).
