GSRA - Program on Human and Environment Systems Interactions (PHESI)

This sounds like an excellent opportunity - I hope somebody from SI jumps on it. This is a great combination of public goods allocation and network theory, capped with environmental sustainability.

Graduate Student Research Assistantship Opportunity

The Program on Human and Environment Systems Interactions (PHESI) is
seeking a graduate student with experience in object-oriented
programming, agent-based modeling and statistics, and (preferably)
interests in environmental sustainability and common-pool resource
dilemmas, for the Winter term 2008. The student will work
individually and with the team 15-20 hours per week to develop, test,
and conduct experiments with agent-based models of forest resource use
by villagers in the developing world. Pay is $5,297 to $7,568
(depending of fractional appointment) for the semester, plus health
and tuition benefits.

Please send statement of interest and experience, along with a
one-page resume to Natalie Dushane <nadushan@umich.edu> no later than
Dec 14.
