FuturTech
is the University of Michigan’s premier business and technology
conference, bringing together representatives from the Ross School of
Business, School of Information, College of Engineering and major
corporations from around the world. It is one of the largest
conferences at the University of Michigan and provides a forum for top
talent and industry leaders to discuss the intersection of business and
technology.
This
year’s conference, The Digital Provide, will be held on January 25,
2008 at the Michigan League. Panel discussions will be held on a
variety of topics such as New trends in collaboration, Intellectual
property, Finance, Health care, Venture capital, Digital marketing
strategies and Convergence of mobile devices. There will also be case
competitions held by Microsoft and a TechFair that will provide
students with the opportunity to network with representatives from
various organizations.
