QUEST Alliance, Bangalore invites applications for the
position of a Research Associate for its research
project “Understanding and Managing Knowledge in the
field of Technology in Education and Employability”,
If you feel passionately about the need for positive
change in the education and employability development
space in India, and are excited about the potential
for technology as an enabler for bringing about some
of these changes, then we have an interesting
opportunity for you.
About QUEST Alliance
The QUEST Alliance brings together public, private and
NGO partners to create, pilot and institutionalize
technology tools for improving the quality of
education at all levels in both formal and non formal
settings to better reach disadvantaged youth
populations. As a dynamic network of educators,
corporate and NGO leaders, QUEST is committed to
identifying new and innovative technology-mediated
solutions for education and workforce development.
QUEST Programs focus on innovative ways to integrate
technology into the teaching and learning environment,
ensuring quality educational value with significant
potential for scaling. For more information, please

We seek to bring possibility and hope into our schools
and into the lives of the millions of unemployed but
talented youth in this country today. The basis on
which Quest is formed and seeks to keep itself alive
is the strength of partnerships and the notion that we
can bring about systemic change only through
harnessing separate efforts, find common interests and
grounds for different partners to work together. We
currently work with 10 partners and are actively
looking to engage with more organizations working in
these areas of development.
As part of its future vision, QUEST is planning to
build a Knowledge Portal, which will cater to the
various needs of project implementers, private
companies, government officials, NGOs, teachers,
students and unemployed youth in the sectors of ICTs,
Education and Skills Training. The Knowledge Portal
project is one of several concurrent processes that
QUEST has envisioned, the others being: Engaging in
the Education Policy Arena; Conducting

Incubator where innovative work in the ICTs, education
and skills training will be carried out.
